"We were delighted with Lukela on the big island - it had every comfort of home. It was such a pleasure to find the farmers market in downtown Kona and have a kitchen to bring our exotic fruit home to. Several mornings we got up with the sun and went less than a mile to the beach where the sea turtles graze on coral. We and the turtles had the cove to ourselves as we snorkled a few feet away from them. We discovered several excellent restaurants in Kona and after a few days, felt like natives.
We've never had a more relaxing vacation, we have reservations to come back next year and I think, every year."
